Siapa berdiri di mana: posisi 1 sampai 5Who stands where: positions 1 to 5
Lima posisi, satu antrean farm. Five positions, one farm queue. By the end you should be able to say who is expected to buy the wards.
Posisi 1: carry
Safe lane, prioritas farm tertinggi. Pos 1 diharapkan menghabiskan sepuluh menit pertama untuk memperkuat diri, bukan menyelamatkan orang, dan timing item tim disusun mengelilinginya.
Kalau satu draft punya dua hero yang sama-sama butuh farm safe lane, salah satunya keliru.
Satu lineup punya Anti-Mage dan Wraith King. Keduanya butuh farm paling aman. Apa masalah sebenarnya?
Jawaban: Keduanya berebut farm yang sama, jadi salah satu pasti kelaparan — Prioritas farm itu antrean, bukan selera. Dua hero di depan antrean saling menghabisi.
Posisi 2: mid
Posisi 3: offlane
Offlane, melawan safe lane musuh.
Position 1: the carry
Safe lane, the highest farm priority. A pos 1 is expected to spend the first ten minutes getting stronger, not saving anyone, and the team's items are timed around it.
If a draft has two heroes who both need the same safe-lane farm, one of them is wrong.
A lineup has Anti-Mage and Wraith King. Both want the safest farm. What is the actual problem?
Answer: Both need the same farm, so one of them will be starved — Farm priority is a queue, not a preference. Two heroes at the front of it starve each other.
Position 2: the mid
Middle lane, alone, with the earliest levels. A pos 2 is usually the hero whose power spike decides the mid game, the one who leaves lane first and makes the first rotation.
This is the lane where a quiet loss is most expensive: no support can come and fix it.
Why does losing mid hurt more than losing a side lane?
Answer: Mid is 1v1, so nobody can rotate in to fix it, and levels come fastest there — Fastest levels plus no partner means a lost mid is a lost level curve, and that shows up in every fight afterwards.
Position 3: the offlaner
Offlane, against the enemy safe lane. A pos 3 is expected to keep working on less farm and to make the enemy carry's first ten minutes unpleasant.
When people say a lineup has "no front line", they usually mean the pos 3 is not doing this job.
Which job actually belongs to the offlaner?
Answer: Making the enemy carry's lane hard while asking for little farm — Offlane is a trade: less farm for pressure on the enemy's most important lane.
Position 4: the soft support
The offlaner's partner, and the hero who leaves lane first. A pos 4 is expected to rotate, gank, and buy aggressive items, the ones that make something happen rather than prevent something.
The mistake to avoid is treating pos 4 as a second pos 5: if both supports sit behind, no lane gets helped.
A pos 4 stands behind the offlaner all laning stage. What is missing?
Answer: Rotation: the pos 4 is the hero who should leave lane and gank — A pos 4 who never rotates is a pos 5 with an expensive build.
Position 5: the hard support
The carry's partner in the safe lane, lowest farm priority, and the hero who buys vision. A pos 5's score is supposed to look bad; wards and saves are the job.
"The support has no items" is not a criticism, it is the plan.
Who should be buying the wards in the first ten minutes?
Answer: Position 5 — Vision is bought by the hero whose farm is worth the least per gold: the pos 5.
