Angka 90,9% yang hampir tidak berarti apa-apaA 90.9% that meant almost nothing
Halaman hero bilang Leshrac mengalahkan Outworld Devourer 90,9% dari pertandingan. Sampelnya sebelas game. Ini yang kami ubah, bukan menghapus angkanya. The hero page said Leshrac beats Outworld Devourer 90.9% of the time. The sample was eleven games. Here is what we changed instead of deleting the number.
Tiga perubahan, tanpa menyembunyikan data
The number was not wrong
Outworld Devourer had 1 win in 11 games against Leshrac. Both rows of the matrix agreed (the opponent reading gave the same 10–1) so this was not a direction bug, and the raw percentage was honest: 90.9%.
The problem is that 11 games is a coin toss wearing a percentage. One game moves that number by nine points.
What the whole matrix said
Two counts decided it. Of the 14,438 pairings with at least 10 games, only 20 read 90% or more to one side. Of the 10,404 pairings with 30+ games, not a single one is above 80%.
Extreme percentages only exist in thin cells. Thresholds are not the fix: the fix is that a pairing under 25 games should not be able to lead a list.
Three changes, none of them hiding the data
The list now sorts well-sampled pairings first, then by the shrunken rate. A thin pairing keeps its own row, prints its raw rate dimmed, says "thin sample" under the name, and shows the rate after the 50-game shrink underneath, the number the order actually used.
Nothing was deleted. A reader can still find the 11-game pairing on heroes whose whole matrix is small, and the tooltip spells out both numbers.
